"Audio only youtube" chrome extension enables you to disable only video on youtube which saves internet usage more than 50% when you want to listen songs on youtube.

**Note: It doesn't support Youtube Live Videos.**

You can enable/disable it by just clicking on the icon shown in the extension bar.

Audio only youtube is an open-source project licensed under GPLv3. You can find sources here :

This add-on sucks! I used 13 GB with only about 3 days of listening to YouTube music, no audio only streaming could do that. There goes half my portion of the monthly data limit gone, THANKS phantom for lying about your extension. It still downloads video, it just doesn't play it.

It is a nice idea, however upon testing it does not appear to actually lower bandwidth usage at all and is therefore useless to me.
