i have a server from 2019 with messages sent in multiple channels everyday over the past 8 years, i decided to archive them for safe keeping incase something ever happened and originally when i did this 2 years ago with another program, it created a file so large, my browser would run out of memory and crash no matter what i did. now 2 years later i decided to try this program instead to archive everything thanks to the oncoming Global ID update, with alot more messages than there were 2 years ago and it actually worked much faster than the previous program, flawlessly, and all the files (i have pages made every 1000 messages) are small enough it doesn't break my browser to look at them due to them all being separated and not in 1 file. these files are also insanely small, 86,000 messages came out to be 105 mbs. so you easily could store large amounts on a flashdrive for safe keeping. i can't say much about the deleting function, as i didn't use it, i exclusively exported, but others here seem to use it for that purpose and i'm sure it works well.
