AI 产品解读Browser productivity extension that integrates ClickUp project management features (tasks, screenshots, time tracking, email, notepad) directly into the browser
Eliminates the need to switch between multiple apps by consolidating task creation, screenshot capture, time tracking, email-to-task conversion, and note-taking into a single browser extension connected to ClickUp
User clicks extension icon → popup checks for ClickUp auth token cookie → if authenticated, opens task creation/feature panel on current page → user can create tasks (with page URL/title auto-filled), capture/annotate screenshots, start time tracking, or convert emails to tasks → all data syncs to ClickUp workspace via API calls to api.clickup.com

- 目标用户
- ClickUp users / Project managers / Teams using ClickUp for task management / Knowledge workers seeking productivity consolidation
- Large minified bundle files (main-DAG5TK45.js at 5.6MB) make full code analysis impractical; paid feature gating could theoretically exist in bundled Angular app but no evidence found
- ClickUp's paid plans (Business, Enterprise) exist on the destination service but are not controlled by the extension itself
付费分析未识别到付费功能
The extension itself does not gate features behind payment, show upgrade prompts, or call billing APIs. No 'premium', 'stripe', 'subscription', or 'plan' keywords found in extension code. The store states 'ClickUp is free forever for up to 100MB of files storage'. ClickUp as a destination service (app.clickup.com) offers paid Business/Enterprise plans, but these are unrelated to the extension's functionality - the extension provides access to whichever ClickUp plan the user already has.

- The extension requires login to a ClickUp account via OAuth. popup.js checks for a 'cu_chrome_extension_token' cookie and redirects to a login page if not found. The store description explicitly states '4. Log in to your ClickUp Account'. The OAuth flow uses chrome.identity.getRedirectURL() and exchanges an authorization code for access/refresh tokens with ClickUp's API (serviceWorker.js lines 5809-5866). An 'isLogged' variable controls access to core features like Gmail integration.
Great when it works but in the space of 1 month I have had to remove and reinstall this extension 3 times so far and on the last and current attempt I can't get the extension to work properly at all when it comes to attaching emails (from Gmail) to an existing task and this is a function I use all the time. ClickUp is great but this extension is unreliable and frustrating. Update 31st March 2025 - I've just deleted and reinstalled this extension for the (I've stopped counting) gazillionth time.
Latest version don't work (Ark browser) on windows. When you click on the extension icon, it display a very tiny white window
2 WORKAROUNDS, IN-DEPTH AND SIMPLIFIED When it works, I use this extension quite a lot to connect my emails to the associated tasks. I really enjoy it s, and it does work a lot of the time, for which I'm deeply thankful. It's a GREAT app. It stopped working about the same time as the new update, version 1.10.4 and I'm waiting excitedly for when these developers fix whatever bugs are keeping it from working. Let's look at what the extension does and how to accomplish this another way. Among other things, the extension copies the text and attachments of the email and attaches it to a Clickup Task. For me, the important thing is that it gives me a record of contents of the email. That is more important than how it is accomplished. So, I manually copy all the contents of the email and copy them into the Clickup task. This is not a perfect workaround, but for me, it accomplishes the important stuff, that of being able to access the contents. The negative part is that this workaround does not connect the email in Gmail. IN-DEPTH WORKAROUND This version brings in a complete forwarded copy of the email to the Clickup task. 1. Create a task on the appropriate list in Clickup and save it. 2. At the right side of the saved task, click on the 3-dot menu. 3. From the popup menu, "Send email to task". 4. It will copy the email address in the clipboard. As a confirmation, at the bottom left of the screen, a notification will appear confirming that it has been copied. 5. Go back to the email-that-you-want-attached in your Gmail account. 6. (optional, which I do), Copy the body text of the email and paste it into the description area of the task in Clickup. Also, copy and paste any images that you want to be in the Clickup task.) 7. Back in the email in Gmail, forward the email. 8. In the forwarded email, paste email address from the Clickup task. 9. Look through the text of the about-to-be-forwarded email and delete anything that you don't want in Clickup and tidy it up, if necessary. (The forwarding action sometimes puts in unnecessary clutter. 10. Press the send button on the email. 11. Go to the chosen task in Clickup and check that the email has been attached. The text of the email is put into the Comments section. (Note, Since I prefer to have the text of the email in the description area of the task, that is why I added step 6 above.) You should be done now. Just double check it to make sure everything worked correctly. SIMPLIFIED WORK AROUND This workaround copies all the important content of the email, but doesn't give you an actual copy of the email as the In-Depth version does. But, for me, it contains all the important stuff and is simpler. 1. Create a task on the appropriate list in Clickup and save it. 2. Go back to the email-that-you-want-copied in your Gmail account. 3. Forward the email, but don't send it. 4. Copy the body text of the original email including the forwarding email address header info (that contains email addresses, date sent, etc.) and paste it into the description area of the task in Clickup. 4b. Also, copy and paste any images that you want to be in the Clickup task.) 4c. If applicable, attach a copy of the estimate or other documents 5. Deleted the email being forwarded 6. Go to the chosen task in Clickup and check that all the needed info from the email has been correctly copied, and that the files are attached 7. Close task (It is automatically saved)
It's a constant nightmare. It rarely works properly and most of the time it won't even let me log into it. Such a disappointment.
The extension is very useful and a great help overall. However, I've recently noticed a significant slowdown when loading information and menus, which has become a bit of an annoyance. Improving this would make the extension even better.
