When you pause a YouTube video, the player controls don't disappear. That makes it really hard to take a clean screenshot of the video. The controls also block your view, which can get really annoying. Hyde is a simple Chrome extension that allows you to hide or show the video player controls easily.
⭐ Simply use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl+M to hide the controls or show them again. ⭐

Suddenly it stop working. I have to disable this options: Automatically allow access on the following sites http://*.youtube.com/* https://*.youtube.com/* Now it works.
the only real and good one out there
If it does not hide the play bar, just refresh the tab and try again. Works.
its not working as intented. Pressing CTRL + M mutes the tab. what should i do?
Worked precisely as intended on my Macbook. Though I had to press ⌘M instead of Ctrl-M to make it work, that's pretty much how it goes for every single application on that operating system, so it's no problem for me.
