When you pause a YouTube video, the player controls don't disappear. That makes it really hard to take a clean screenshot of the video. The controls also block your view, which can get really annoying. Hyde is a simple Chrome extension that allows you to hide or show the video player controls easily.

⭐ Simply use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl+M to hide the controls or show them again. ⭐

Works great and is very useful but the only negative thing is I found it not to remove the end cards at the end of a video, if it would remove those then it would be a 5/5.

youtube tweaks constantly glitched on me and i would have to refresh my video or not know how much time was left. this caused me a lot of annoyance, so much!!! im so glad i have this now, thank you!!

Searched for like an hour to find a way to get the stupid title and timeline that blocks parts of the video to instead shrink the video when the timeline is visible. Did not find such an extension. But this is the next best thing.
