History Trends Unlimited regularly syncs your history to a local database to work around the (approximate) 3-month time limit imposed by Chrome. Your history is saved locally; it's never shared or sent over the network.

Features:

* Interactive charts and stats. Click any of the bar/line/pie charts to filter by a value.

* Search your history by keyword. Or browse it chronologically.

* Access the raw data to perform your own analysis. Click the "Export These Results" link on the Trends or Search page.

* Transfer your history to a new computer. See instructions on the Options page.

EDIT: Nope, scratch that. "reddit date:2017-06-04" turns up 0 results. "date:2017-06-04" alone turns up many, including everything on reddit. "reddit" turns up many, including stuff from the 4th. Fired. Previous review: The only history addon out of 5 that I tried that actually displayed when I'd visited a page at all the times I visited it, without removing any entries. For that and the fact that it's technically possible (not easy or elegant) to search by date, this addon at least offers something above chrome's meager history view. Needs serious design and UI work, though.

The only problem I have is to sync the history. This extension only provides a way to export history as file but not sync it between machines. I recommend author to implement a Google Drive module to sync history automatically between machines.

Deleted just because it judged how much i used the internet, if it didnt do that it would be perfectly fine

I use this to maintain a full history log, since Chrome discards history beyond 3 months. I was also able to import multiple years of history from Firefox, because this extension's developer (Randy Lauen) went out of his way to make it possible. I HIGHLY recommend this utility if you care about retaining history beyond Chrome's abysmally short window. And I applaud Randy for his efforts and his dedication to doing things right, both in coding and in documentation for users.

The Search feature has saved me from losing countless gems to Chrome's oubliette. History transfer, auto backup, and ability to choose your start page (I never look at the charts...) make it perfect. This extension is a must have.
