- The compiled AngularJS app (app_compiled-bundle.js at 5.5MB) is too large to fully inspect, but core workflow is well-documented through locale strings and HTML templates
- Analytics tracking to google-analytics.com is present but does not affect login or paid features assessment

This is a free Google utility tool with no payment, subscription, premium tier, or billing code. All 'pro' keyword matches are false positives hitting 'process', 'product', 'procedure' in localization strings (e.g., 'Select a product', 'recovery process'). The 'billed' match is a false positive hitting Danish 'afbrudt' (interrupted). No payment platforms, no upgrade UI, no license checks.

- The extension is a standalone local utility that uses Chrome's native APIs (chromeosInfoPrivate, imageWriterPrivate, fileSystem) to create recovery media. The workflow (select device → select target drive → write image) requires no authentication. All keyword matches for 'auth', 'session', 'token', 'userid' are false positives from Closure Library license text (AUTHORS), analytics session tracking, and autocomplete UI code tokens—not actual login flows.
Works perfectly! My old HP Pavilion G-series was running CloudReady for the longest time after I grew frustrated and disappointed with Windows and their constant need for attention and unwanted bloatware. Once ChromeOS Flex was released, I upgraded by creating my own USB boot device using this Utility, and it installed ChromeOS flawlessly, first try! I am so relieved to have access to my much-used and preferred Google (Android) apps and features that I long missed when using the imitation version offered by CloudReady known as Chromium. Thank you, Google and team, for allowing us to implement your superior software into our old, out-dated hardware!!!
при загрузке через флешку (silison power на 32гб), просто ничего не происходит :P
I just used this to resurrect an old 2011 11" MacAir that Apple had abandoned and which was almost unusable. It took several tries and I could not create the USB launcher from the old Mac. However it worked well using a newer Mac running the latest OS and Chrome to create the USB. The install hung a couple of times on what seemed to be display issues, but after a couple of manual restarts it went fine
does not even work page freezes up wont go any further
Dezepsionante como mi ortografia.
very bad
Записалась на флешку успешно. ОС установилась в течении 10 мин. Процессор 1,1 Ггц , ОЗУ 4 Гб
he probado con varios usb de 8 y 23 gb y siempre esta diciendo que no hay espacio, y no hay soporte
excelente
