- The compiled AngularJS app (app_compiled-bundle.js at 5.5MB) is too large to fully inspect, but core workflow is well-documented through locale strings and HTML templates
- Analytics tracking to google-analytics.com is present but does not affect login or paid features assessment

This is a free Google utility tool with no payment, subscription, premium tier, or billing code. All 'pro' keyword matches are false positives hitting 'process', 'product', 'procedure' in localization strings (e.g., 'Select a product', 'recovery process'). The 'billed' match is a false positive hitting Danish 'afbrudt' (interrupted). No payment platforms, no upgrade UI, no license checks.

- The extension is a standalone local utility that uses Chrome's native APIs (chromeosInfoPrivate, imageWriterPrivate, fileSystem) to create recovery media. The workflow (select device → select target drive → write image) requires no authentication. All keyword matches for 'auth', 'session', 'token', 'userid' are false positives from Closure Library license text (AUTHORS), analytics session tracking, and autocomplete UI code tokens—not actual login flows.
worked great except....If I make a chrome OS Flex recovery image on a 64GB flash drive then boot live with it to use it on a computer without installing it, the system is only 3GB and 59GB are just missing. Not showing up as even existing in another partition or anything. Tried it twice. Going to try again on a brand new thumb drive that was never before formatted to see if that does anything. Also...why can't the user choose the disk/drive for Chrome OS to be installed to? If a computer has more than one HD then the COS Flex installer will wipe ALL harddrives. Also, it prevents user from installing COS to one drive or partition (internal or external) to preserve the ability to dual boot or, like in my case, keep their comp on a portable external SSD or SD Card so I have all my files and programs with me regardless of the comp I'm using. COS would be a perfect operating system for that. One cool thing I added a star for is that the installer drive seems to have persistence despite shrinking the drive to 3gb. When I log in on one comp then shutdown and move it to another it boots to the login screen with my user info already filled in and the apps open when I shut down reopen and I can resume exactly as it was.
