- The compiled AngularJS app (app_compiled-bundle.js at 5.5MB) is too large to fully inspect, but core workflow is well-documented through locale strings and HTML templates
- Analytics tracking to google-analytics.com is present but does not affect login or paid features assessment

This is a free Google utility tool with no payment, subscription, premium tier, or billing code. All 'pro' keyword matches are false positives hitting 'process', 'product', 'procedure' in localization strings (e.g., 'Select a product', 'recovery process'). The 'billed' match is a false positive hitting Danish 'afbrudt' (interrupted). No payment platforms, no upgrade UI, no license checks.

- The extension is a standalone local utility that uses Chrome's native APIs (chromeosInfoPrivate, imageWriterPrivate, fileSystem) to create recovery media. The workflow (select device → select target drive → write image) requires no authentication. All keyword matches for 'auth', 'session', 'token', 'userid' are false positives from Closure Library license text (AUTHORS), analytics session tracking, and autocomplete UI code tokens—not actual login flows.
Yeah it seems to be broken. Why do I HAVE to select a model? My model isn't listed, why isn't there a try generic button? Even when I did that though it just got stuck at downloading. It looks like Chrome OS is already dead.
for anyone trying to use this, it is completely broken and no longer works.
it is not opening when I click on the chrome extension
Ik vraag me af waar de link staat..? Deze 'extensie' is een foto waarop je eindeloos kunt klikken zonder enig resultaat...
Extension doesnt do anything

Why not a simple standalone application? I plan to use this once and hopefully never again, why in God's name would I want an extension that stays there until I remove it? Not to mention, it does not work. In step 2 of 3, it asks to insert a USB flash drive or SD card, except it keeps suggesting flash drives that are not plugged into my PC and have not been plugged in for months before I ever installed this extension, one of them belongs to my friend and she hasn't been here in about 2 months, yet her flash drive is one of the options? AND THE SD CARD I AM TRYING TO USE IS NOT SHOWING UP! I USED THIS SD CARD FOR THIS EXACT PURPOSE PREVIOUSLY!!!!! Why do you all insist on making software so incredibly frustrating? It cannot be an accident, there are too many skilled programmers and web developers making far too much money for it to be an accident, what is the purpose of driving us insane? I just want to reinstall the ChromeOS that managed to corrupt itself, why is this process becoming more and more tedious? This is not the first time I've done this, and yet I've never struggled to the point of needing to post a review before. It does not work.
It simply goes on and on and on. Over 500% even. Nothing holds the download file I have checkd. And even if so... how would it be to suspect something is wrong if we reached 100% and still not writing the usg or sd card? Really?
