12 Oct. 2012: Works exactly as claimed. Firefox-like lazy-tabs loading, a much needed extension! Only improvement would be if even the main document could be prevented from loading. Edit: Apparently many people fail to understand how exactly this extension works. It does always load the main HTML document (which is basically the main text on a page), and it loads the little icon that is displayed in a tab, but it does not (or ought not to) load any images, style sheets, and videos or other plugins until a tab is activated. This does give you a considerable boost in Chrome startup when you tend to keep many tabs open (like I do) and it should prevent any audio or video from automatically starting in an inactive tab. Of course, not loading anything would be even better, which is precisely why I have rated this extension with 4 stars, only.
