動画の再生が全然できない。ホームビデオで拡張子がAVIでもMPGでも再生できないなんて何のためにインストールさせてるのですか。拡張機能？全然拡張してませんよ。

Garbage.
評価はよくわからないのでとりあえずの★３。いろいろ説明足りない感あります。Chromeでは動画のサムネイルができない＆スマホで撮影した動画は再生できないなどありました。この拡張機能の通知でおすすめされるMicrosoftのHEVC￥120のをダウンロード後、Microsoft Edgeで機能しました！ ￥120課金＆Edgeで動画再生もサムネイル問題も解決したけど、コーデックがありませんのような通知はたまに出ます。ふしぎー。
It works for my 50K+ photos+videos. Thumbnails take a while to appear. One star off because I have to ask family members to install the extension when they want to view photos. Not ideal.
It works. When they removed server side processing for HEIC 265 there were hacky ways of implementing it yourself way. Now this is available im okay with it. I wish it told me progression, what is being converted and how many more left.

This browser extension barely works continuously — after browsing just a few pages of photos in Synology Photos, it shows that the image assistant tool has stopped working and needs to be restarted from the extension library. If the product is this poorly made, don’t take shortcuts just to save a little money by taking AME offline entirely. It’s really disappointing!
同社のNAS用WebアプリSynology PhotosでHEIC形式の画像を扱うためのブラウザ拡張…ですが、そもそも2024年まではNAS側で変換する機能があったので、こんな拡張もネイティブアプリもインストール不要でした。 機能が改悪された結果、NASのWebアプリを使うために、各クライアントPCにブラウザ拡張とネイティブアプリをインストールしなければいけない、という話です。あり得ません。 昔のようにNAS側に変換する機能を復活させて、こんなブラウザ拡張は不要にしてください。当然☆1です。
