The few days the extension was broken made using Messenger awful. My poor eyes. I'm so glad this is fixed again, just reinstalled it and everything is back to normal!
Do dark mode users go to heaven : yes! What about light mode users : TO THE DEEPEST PITS OF HELL!

I really appreciate the addon but right now it the messages in dark mode are not visiable. Text and message bubbles are white/grey and are barely visible. Please push new version with the fix.

I love it, it was working perfectly until recently. With new FB update this extension would display light grey font over white background on chat bubble. Almost unreadable. Hope the dev will comeback to update this, please ;)
Font is white in dark mode, cannot read the messages with this extension enabled Edit: I think it is ok now
Why suddenly the fonts turn white!
May 16th 2024 - EDIT The extension stopped working preperly again, everything is white! Hopefully it gets fixed soon. Jan 12th 2024 - EDIT The extension stopped working properly today, the background of conversations is bright white unfortunately. Meta is probably messing with the rendering of conversations... I hope it gets fixed well! (I just can't understand why a dark mode is not proposed by Facebook Messenger itself!) Oct 30th 2023 - EDIT The extension was fixed!!! Thanks for helping my eyes ;) Oct 24th 2023 This extension was good until few days ago... Now the messages I receive are white and (almost) unreadable! Maybe it's becacuse of a Google Chrome update???
