I like this extension, and find it to be an invaluable improvement to youtube. I respect that it has been shown not to be malware, and so on. However, almost always when launching chrome I get an annoying popup. It doesn't do anything, but it's always an annoying popup for either a browser update (chrome updates itself, so this is not necessary), or security checkups that I don't want, and other such things. These may be harmless, but they are very annoying, and I have yet to find a means to disable them. If someone can provide instructions on how to do this, or a clearly labelled option is added to the extension to disable them, I will happily upgrade to a 5-star. And yes, once again, I am fully aware they are harmless, and they do nothing. They are just annoying, and I don't want them.

Freaking adware! Popups are horrific. Cant disable it at all. Devs not doing ANYTHING about that and trying to change subject instead of fixing. IM DONE with this addone, even though it was good some time ago

Wow the update popup is so aggressive! Who decided that this should be turned ON by default?! Seriously? Downgraded to 2 stars, I'm so close to uninstalling now. It's like malware!

I love the functionality, it's the best YouTube enhancer out there. But the pop-ups and reminders are too frequent and often not even true. They implemented at least 3 different ways of "notifying" me. Anything from full page reminders, small windows, small windows with a random name and face giving "tips". I'm not the only one that complained, gave it over a year and it only got worse - a wider variety of annoyances that got even more frequent. And after all of that they have the audacity to mix in their "privacy app" ads in those mentioned pop-ups. Great way to build trust for a privacy app. /s Every review mentioning the pop-ups got a reply shifting the blame to extension conflicts or malware. The dev is playing dumb in replies and instead of listening to the complaint, lists the potential risks of having not the most recent browser. Basically both the addon and the people behind it now are a "go check for updates" nag. It's quite ironic because Magic Actions is the only thing on my machine acting like adware. Almost like they want to feed people a bad experience as an example of what an infected PC would feel like. Point taken, happy to uninstall. It's really bizarre that the devs seem to feel like heroes, when all they're doing is setting fire to any respect they acquired over the years. The annoyances outweigh any upsides the extension brought. It's a shame, I liked Magic Actions while it was just a YouTube extension, now it's just a pest. I tried giving you guys time to create an opt-out option. Only received a wider variety of more frequent pop-ups.

The popups that offer "tips" or mention that the browser is out of date are really annoying. I see the dev copy-pasting a response to everyone which is also just unhelpful spam. Remove the popups. This extension does not benefit from popups. No one likes popups. The core functionality is great. Uninstalling because of the popups.

Love your features, I remember when it had not as much features as it used to have. You guys have added many cool features. There is a little bug when using this extension. Around the black bars I see the thumbnail of the video replacing those little black bars on the left and right sides or top or bottom of the video whenever I pause the video. The extension makes watching Youtube videos a little buggy.
