IF THIS DID NOT WORK FOR YOU READ THIS! After hours and hours of trying to figure this out. Multiple youtube videos, speaking to facebook themselves, and then seeing multiple tutorials leading only to this same extension i was so frustrated. If this extension DOES NOT work for you. Your best bet is to download firefox web browser and search for their "Switch to classic FB design" add on (Very similar to how you found this one). Doing it in firefox is THE ONLY THING THAT WORKED FOR ME. As of March 6, 2021 there is no other option.
It used to work at the beginning but stopped like 2 months ago and never came back.
doesn't work. this relied on facebook still having the option to switch back and facebook has removed this for everyone. don't waste your time there won't be a workaround
Not working plz don't use this extension
It worked for 3 wonderful weeks in January and enabled me to get back to material I required to copy from 2015. It was wonderful. Then one night I went into and although all the extensions are still showing at the top R/H corner of the page, I cannot get the old version to load. So, so disappointed as I still had months of work to do from previous years but that I can now, no longer access. I hope with all my heart I can get it to work again, but have no idea how. But for now, thank so, so much for the time I had with the old version.

Nearly two years on, this is still misleading people into downloading it, WHEN THEY VERY WELL KNOW, IT DOESN'T WORK! Remove it, it's useless!
does not work, waste of time..
Initially I was so pleased, it did exactly what it said it would - which was handy because the new layout makes managing groups much more arduous. However, a couple of weeks in it no longer worked. I have been waiting patiently (as popup asks you to) but now, more weeks later, it just feels like you aren't going to bother making it work again for those of us for whom the extension ceased to function.
