Thank you so very much for this. I mainly access fb on my laptop and desk top and the new version was so very uncomfortable on the eyes and was doing weird things like telling me I had 24 unread announcements in a group I belong to when I knew I'd read them all. Complete joy when I discovered your extension!! Thank you again.

New FB is HORRID on desktops, especially larger monitors! I swear, they didn't even CONSIDER how it would look on it! Giant print, so spread out, no way to collapse area's and missing features... I swear it was a beta test version. Thanks Matt for giving us a hack / choice!
