I'm not a pro. I'm not a coder. I'm just a guy that occasionally needs a diff tool. And when I do, I need it to work, and not get in the way, or be too fiddly. That's what DiffChecker does. It works every single time, flawlessly. I've used several diffs over the years and not all of them work well.. I really appreciate the work and effort you put into this!

How do I make it not have that weird "few rows of code" at the top which are like the top brackets of the section I am looking at. I just want a DIFF of the 2 files. Not this goofy 2-3 line groupy thing at the top. Is there a button to turn this off? I just want the DIFF. I literally hate it. I tried clicking every button in the interface, it wont go away. 1 star, uninstalled.
It works really well so far, the only issue I'm having is I can't find the word wrap option. Comparing two very similar text files, narrative based with paragraphs. Which makes very unwieldy long lines of text if not wrapped. And for the life of me, I can't find the most basic of all features. Word Wrap or Line Wrap. Either I'm blind as a bat, or there isn't an option for it. And there aren't that many buttons and no nesting options I can see in the uncomplicated interface. Edit: They've updated it to include the word wrap option or at least made it accessible with a simple button in the UI. Glorious. Thanks Devs!

Nice small diff extension, I usually have to install notepad++ or visual studio code only for diff function. This extension compares files for me without additional software
