Instagram does not provide a native way to bulk-download media from user profiles or collections. This extension solves that by injecting into Instagram's React UI to extract media URLs and enable batch downloading with ffmpeg support for video processing.

User navigates to an Instagram profile or page → Extension injects into Instagram's React component tree via proxy.js, hooking into components like PolarisMedia, PolarisPostsGridItem → Download buttons appear on media items → User can bulk-select or download individual items → Extension uses chrome.downloads API to save files → FFmpeg is included for video merging/processing when needed

Target users: Instagram users who want to save/backup photos and videos from profiles / Content creators and social media managers / Researchers and archivists collecting Instagram media

Feature definitions for BASIC/PREMIUM tiers are loaded at runtime from static-data.esuit.dev/index.json and are not included in the bundled source, so exact paid feature names cannot be enumerated
The injects/index.js and injects/vendors.js files are very large and minified—while the proxy.js clearly shows Instagram component interception, the full download UI implementation is embedded in these large bundles
Cannot verify if the free tier has any download count limits or if all basic download functionality is completely free
