not great if u have good network speed, bombards the server with lot of connection and then gets blocked.Also no option to add alternate mirror.

Quite simply, FDM5 is horrible. It can pause downloads. That's basically it. Let's say something happens, and the file on the server becomes inaccessible from the url you started it on. Not common, but it's happened to me. FDM5 can't solve that problem. You can't add mirrors, you can't manage how many pieces a file is split into (which I don't think it even does anymore), and you can't even manage what sites ALLOW you to pause downloads.

This is exactly what i was looking for. I can shut my laptop off and resume my download later.I have had no problems so far
