idea is admirable, but execution is lacking. from the scant few results that feature a US flag, every single one i dug deeper turned out to be PRC. sometime no digging is even needed as the product name will contain the name of its Chinese manufacturer. HuaQi is very commonly flagged as US. HuaQi is in PRC. there is no built in way to report/flag wrong results. so its largely useless
still works great as of August 25, 2024! but there are some missing blank ones when other extensions shows the country correctly while this one shows blank. but overall still good!
Not getting accurate results; showing me the USA flag for items that are not in fact made in the USA according to their country of origin in the listing.
I saw that it some cases it says made in USA but in the comments it actually says made in China by the customers. The AI generated response feature of Amazon makes it easier to find that answer. Also, the sellers are located in China in many cases but the product origin information doesn't exist or it's misleading, so the extension also gives the wrong idea. If it could be enhanced to give more accurate information it would be wonderful. If only Amazon had a filter for product search.
