Excelente, si no fuese porque te impone el uso de un buscador concreto. coolsearch.net Tal y como lo tenía colgado como recomendado en la web, editaré la publicación criticandolo. Gracias por el servicio prestado pero aprecio mucho mas mi privacidad para otorgarle a un buscador más. (google ya se que tiene mis datos, pero coolsearch.net no le daré esa opción)

Such a disappointment, was a great tool until it started forcing me to use some cool-search engine instead of my preferred google. Up until this point, you could just right click text and select Speak It and it would read it to you. I guess ill be looking around for another one now.

Was amazing until it just decided it wanted to force its stupid search engine on new tabs, which does not offer speech to text search options. (The main reason I open a new tab is to ask a quick question and since I am a slow typer I almost always use Google's new tab speech to text search.) When messing with a product that over 100,000 people use to read for them, you should make it optional because a lot of people who use a program to read for them are probably not the fastest typers. I don't care if it asks if you want to switch each time you use it but there should at least be an option to use another search engine. And if not provide an option to switch then at least provide your own speech to text search on your new tabs. Before this force switch happened I was a proud user of this extension and recommended it to several friends. But after this switch this extension has truly irritated me.

Update: a couple of days later, this deceitful little program disables itself and now "requires" permission to _set my search engine_ to "coolsearch.net". The extension refuses to work until such permission is granted. Wow. This is practically malware. 1 Star is too many. Original review: -------------- Excellent little program for quick one-word pronunciation checking (which is what I personally use it for). One notable glitch is that regardless of whether the Male or Female voice is selected in the menu, the voice is always male. I do appreciate that the extension rarely (so far, never) requests any access to my website information, as that access is not required to speak a highlighted word. I applaud software design that only requests the minimum permissions required to function.

The only bug i hate is the "female" voice for english doesn't work. Whatever i choose "male" or "female" the voice is male. Fix it if possible thank you :)
