# Overview
This extension reads web pages with text to speech (TTS) and highlights one sentence at a time. It doesn't require you to select any text first. It doesn't launch a new weird web page. And it's totally free with no sign in or registration required. And it's ad free.
By default it reads the whole page, top to bottom. However, if you select any text, even just a word, it starts reading at your selection, but continues on from there until you stop it, or it reaches the end of the page. Now with better "sentence" identification.
# Use Cases

Many issues as others mentioned. Stopping for no apparent reason mid page, blurting out non-coherent hyperlinks and character symbols mid sentence on websites with many links and embedded media such as wiki articles and News site articles is not what I would call a positive user experience.
This is excellent and very helpful. Initially it was not working. But, started working after I changed the selected voice from OPtions. It provides the feature to operate with keyboard shortcuts. And, option to start reading from anywhere in the page by selecting a text and clicking on start.
Very good
No funciona
dose not work
did not work at all. Do not install if you actually want something to read aloud.
Could look better but does ok anyway I just wanna know why the developer's site is unavailable www.webpagereader.com
Suggestion: Can you add options to let user assign keyboard shortcuts for start/pause/stop bottoms? The best tts extension I ever used. Love this app.
I like the way this extension work :) I do have to reboot PC after installing to make it work, but that's not a big deal, it still deserve five star
Probably The Best AND Easiest to use Screen Reader I Have Tried (and Since It Works Well, Probably Will Be The Last One That I Try For Now). It Was Great For My Intended Purpose - Testing Screen Readers For Accessibility Of A Website I Manage. The Only Issue I Found With It Was That It Would Also Read The Rendering Information Embedded Within The Page As Apposed To Just The Text That Was Visible On The Screen, BUT That Could Be More Of A WordPress / WordPress Theme Issue.
