TikTok & Instagram Keep Playing allows videos on TikTok and Instagram to keep playing even when the tab is in the background — for example, when you switch to another tab or window.
Normally, Chrome pauses these videos when the page is not active.
With this extension, you can control that behavior:
ON: TikTok and Instagram keep playing in the background (so you can listen or watch while doing other tasks).
OFF: Videos pause when you leave the tab.

Update: Unfortunately, it doesn’t work on TikTok… after about 1 minute, TikTok cuts off the sound. I tested with other extensions and didn’t have this issue. If this bug gets fixed, it would be great. I’m really happy that an extension has been developed for both TikTok and Instagram, and it works perfectly. So far, there are no issues or bugs, it runs flawlessly.
