Kokoro Speak is a powerful text-to-speech extension that runs entirely in your browser - no internet
connection required, it converts text to natural-sounding speech with customizable voice settings.
⚠️ IMPORTANT: WebGPU is REQUIRED for good performance! This extension will be very slow without WebGPU support.
⚠️ WARNING: WebGPU may not work with AMD iGPU.
⚠️ LARGE DOWNLOAD SIZE: This extension is approximately 420MB due to bundled TTS models.

This works quite well. Thank you. The voices are very good. Nearly on par with AI voices on paid services, but free and running on your computer. Amazing. My favorite is Liam en-US. It only needs improvement in the UI department. Suggestions 1) make it possible to skip to next sentence / pargraph. Or to jump to an arbitrary spot by clicking in the text window. 2) highlight text being read. 3) make the text window bigger or resizable, to make it easier to see Thank you
