thank you for making this addon, simple, easy to use, and no sub or payment required nor time limit gimmick. Been installing and uninstalling a bunch of reader until i use this one.
hands down the best TTS extension that uses kokoro. I tried pretty much all of them that mentioned kokoro, but this is the only one that actually lets me read from the page and has useful highlighting. Its so important that it uses kokoro because its the most realistic sounding one and fastest I have seen so far. So useful for doing TTS on chatgpt so I can click what needs to be read, rather than using the builtin TTS which does not let me control what parts are read. Love this thank you so much and thanks for making it free! If you over plan on open sourcing it, that would be awesome :)
Works great on Chrome! Ironically, I'm using it to read though the new encyclical on AI from Pope Leo.
well done! using on edge!
not sure how to rate this. using ubuntu, vivaldi pros: sounds great at high speeds lots of voices cons: no settings button can't figure out how to adjust chunk number (to stop mumble) gets stuck in "click to read mode" details: when the source it's reading has more than about 20 words it goes into mumble mode. sounds far away and robotic while mumbling into a tin can while sitting in a car. the click to read WILL stop you from clicking on any text boxes if there is helpful text inside. unusable as many things i try to have it read has more than it's no mumble limit, apparently.
