If the exact tier isn’t available, it selects the closest lower quality automatically.

Re-applies briefly during playback to beat “Auto”
Works on watch pages, playlists, and Shorts (best effort)

Superb extension. Most of the other YT quality extensions break after like a couple of videos, but this extension is pretty much always selecting the best quality. I'm using this with a filter to hide the YT "1080 premium" option and it's great! love ❤️
