Specsnag - Generate instant vehicle reports

Specsnag adds report generation functionality to any vehicle listing across popular car marketplaces and dealership websites. When you click the button, the vehicle information is loaded by specsnag.com, which automatically builds a detailed report on that exact car; analysing thousands of data points.

Each report gives a structured overview of the exact make, model, milage, year and condition of the vehicle you're viewing — including specifications, common issues, and things worth checking before you buy. It’s a simple way to understand what’s behind the listing, based on real-world data rather than just the seller’s description.

🚗 What it does

When you open a car listing, the extension detects the page and places a small “Generate Report” button on it. Clicking the button opens a new browser tab with a Specsnag report for that car.

The report is generated automatically and includes facts, known issues, and inspection guidance based on the model and year.

You don’t need to sign up or create an account. It just works when you click.
