excellent experience
awsome
It's very good and it helps me more faster work
Absolutely unbelievable experience with Webshare. I paid for an annual subscription on May 8, 2026, thinking I was signing up for a privacy-focused proxy service. Instead, shortly after taking my money, they locked my account behind an automated “compliance” review and demanded a government-issued ID AND a bank statement to continue using the service. Yes… a BANK STATEMENT. To verify that the credit card I paid with was actually mine. For a company built around proxies and online privacy, the irony is almost comical. When I said I was abosutely not handing over personal and financial documents, I requested a refund. Their initial response? My payment was supposedly “not eligible” for refund. Funny how that changed the moment I mentioned filing complaints with the FTC, Attorney General and disputing the charge with my bank. Suddenly the “impossible” refund became possible after all. That alone tells me everything I need to know about how this company handles customers. And before anyone says “just comply,” some of us actually have legitimate privacy concerns. I am not casually uploading IDs and financial documents to every company that decides to flip a compliance switch after taking payment. If Webshare wants to require invasive verification procedures, they should disclose that CLEARLY before accepting annual prepaid subscriptions, not after customers are already locked in. The entire experience felt shady, heavy-handed, and completely backwards for a company selling “privacy” services.
Good
This is fantastical
