AI product readA Chrome extension that lets users send food 'treats' to others by integrating with multiple food delivery platforms
Enables users to gift food orders from food delivery services (Grubhub, Papa John's, Just Eat, Skip The Dishes, Lieferando, Thuisbezorgd, Foodora) to friends, family, or colleagues through the TreatStream platform
1. User installs extension and logs into TreatStream.com. 2. User browses a supported food delivery site (e.g., Grubhub) and adds items to cart. 3. Extension injects a TreatStream overlay on checkout pages. 4. Extension validates cart (delivery mode, price limits, address match). 5. User names/describes the treat and clicks 'Add This Treat!'. 6. Extension POSTs cart data to treatstream.com/addtreat/addTreat. 7. TreatStream handles the treat delivery to the recipient.
Injects 'Add Treat' UI overlay into supported food delivery checkout pages (Grubhub, Papa John's, Just Eat UK/DK/FR, Skip The Dishes, Lieferando, Thuisbezorgd, Foodora)Reads cart items, prices, and restaurant details from delivery sites and posts them to TreatStream's addTreat API endpointValidates delivery address, minimum/maximum order prices, and other constraints before allowing treat creationProvides image search for treat imagesManages TreatStream user session via cookies and login state checkingDisplays TreatStream dashboard link for managing treats
- Target users
- Users of TreatStream.com who want to send food treats/gifts to others / People in the US, Canada, UK, Germany, Denmark, France, Netherlands, and Sweden who use supported food delivery platforms
- Chrome Web Store detail was unavailable (API error), so store description/rating/reviews could not be consulted
- The TreatStream.com website itself was not crawled, so the full treat-giving workflow on the destination service is inferred from extension code
- Could not determine whether TreatStream has paid tiers for its service since only the extension code was analyzed
MonetizationNo paid features detected
No evidence of paid features, premium tiers, subscription gates, or payment platform integrations within the extension. No matches for premium, subscription, upgrade, billing, stripe, or similar keywords. The 'payment' matches in script.js refer to reading price totals from food delivery checkout pages (Grubhub, Just Eat, etc.) for treat validation, not to extension monetization. The deterministic heuristic returned isPaid=0. TreatStream.com as a destination service may have its own pricing model, but no evidence of that is present in the extension source.

- Reason
- The extension checks login status by reading a cookie (_ext_treat) from treatstream.com. If the user is not logged in, the 'Add This Treat!' button is disabled and a message is shown: 'You are currently not logged in. Please log in at TreatStream.com to proceed.' The server-side addTreat endpoint also returns a req_login flag if not authenticated. Core workflow (adding treats) is blocked without login.
Good concept. Poor execution. I am unable to add ANYTHING to my TreatStream because of the dollar value maximum. Grubhub requires a MINIMUM order of $10 to be able to view the cart. TreatSTream has a MAXIMUM of $28.99. I added 2 small items that totaled $10.68 from Target to be delivered via Grubhub. The total after taxes, fees, and delivery charge came out to $16.43 after the $6 discount on delivery. The extension STILL gives the error stating I am over the maximum $28.99 and will not add it to my list of Treats. Because of this, I am completely unable to use the TreatStream service. Either that, or the extension is just plain BUGGED. I do not have any other delivery services in my area of which TreatStream is partnered. Please raise the dollar value to $50. I've seen people donate in-steam interactions with dollar values that high almost on a daily basis. And inflation has caused the cost of things to go up to the point that $50 for this kind of delivery service is normal.
would love other delievery services added....I dont have grubhub only doordash.........
trash dose not work
$28.99 needs to be removed. I can't pick anything I want because the fees and tip exceed me even getting a 5 piece, no combo.
The $28 limit is too low considering that delivery and tip runs well over $10. In LA proper, the only options are Grubhub & Papa Johns which is pretty dismal considering many streamers are based out here so you'd think they would make this extension functionally serve the biggest streamer market. Grubhub only delivers within a 5 mile radius so options can be extremely limited depending where you are. They need to add Uber Eats and remove spending limits, you're not doing mukbang streamers any favors adding limiters that were never asked for.
I've tried countless times to place any treat on my profile and no matter which browser I use, which extensions I disable or whichever way I use "TreatStream" it loads infinitely on the check out page with a 0$ total, and no way to actually add the treat to my profile, or attempt to check out. Absolute waste of time.
If this had Door Dash (since it's the ONLY delivery service in my area) this would be a 5 star extension. Grub hub doesn't exist here, so PLEASE DEVS ADD DOOR DASH!!!!
Can't add Grubhub, constantly asks me to readd items, and never works
£17.99 limit is stupid especially when you allow dominos who charge £20 plus for almost all their pizza's....
I love this concept and I would love to actually be able to utilize this for my streams. BUT, the only thing available in my area is DoorDash and I don't see that as an option? Will you be getting it eventually or am I just out of luck unfortunately?
