Yup! Would be nice if you could separate the mute and the skip functions. Otherwise big thumbs up.
It is like a different version of adblock. Some ads almost don't even appear. There are options but they are very limited. If you just want ads to be silent and nothing more, this extension is not for you. I wonder if I could even support creators I like while using this.
Muting does not work as of the date of writing this review. Also having mute and skip blundled together with no option of choosing just one is pretty douchey.
No way to only mute ads, it forces me to also auto-skip and hide the visuals of the ads too. Sometimes it instantly skips ads without waiting 5 seconds, which is very annoying since it'll ruin my ad-karma and just give me longer unskippable ads later EDIT: Still has the same issues, and sometimes youtube decides to change something that breaks the extension, but in general has drastically improved my yt experience.
YouTube got too greedy and this extension "fixes" almost everything. Thank you!
Works perfectly, and is very unobtrusive.
Didn't work at first. Tried many different thing to get it to work. Not sure which one actually was successful. Seems to be working correctly now.
Works like a charm. Very useful for the new youtube rule forbidding to use adblockers.
Works perfectly! However, the "YouMute enabled" in the bottom left corner annoys me. Any chance you could include a setting to hide it?
