This works flawlessly on my Samsung Series 3. It's helpful when playing music through the Chromebook while working around the house to not have to enter the password when you want to manage the playlist.
Worked great on my HP Pavilion 14 Chromebook.
Don't need a dissertation but please explain your icons. Sun and moon are pretty obvious but what about the setting(rising?) sun.
what is difference between "screen is kept on", and, "the system is prevented from sleeping"?
Does not work when I close my Samsung ARM.
Fantastic!! Doing something ChromeOS should let me do-Control when my Chromebook sleeps!! It works perfectly. You can choose between the system and screen staying awake or just the system. I have tested both overnight and they were still awake when I woke up and then even until I went back to bed. Thank you for keeping my Chromebook AWAKE!
Would be great to allow configuring time until sleep (e.g. only sleep after 30 minutes inactivity)
On my new Samsung Cromebook it delayed to scree timeout but did not stop it when Cromebook plugged into TV and receiver via HDMI It interuped my Pandora so as I would have to go in and tap it awake again.
Stops my chromebook from sleeping and/or turning off the screen! Love it!
I was hoping this extension would keep my Chromebook from going into standby mode when I close it but unfortunately it doesn't. This feature would be handy when I just want to listen to some music. Still adds value to the Chromebook though, thanks.
