I have incorporated dassi into my daily research routine and so far it has been very helpful. It does a good job replacing the manual work of searching for and organizing journal articles. It has also been very efficient gathering and summarizing networking posts on LinkedIn. I like how it runs in the background and is not interrupting other tasks I am working on at the same time. A great tool to have for both professional and personal settings! *** Update after five weeks Since I first installed dassi to my browser I have applied it in various non-technical instances. From a non-developer’s perspective, dassi has been very useful in gathering and compiling information from multiple websites simultaneously – local cinema’s movie screening time, new albums release date from favourite artists, upcoming museum exhibitions – I am still exploring more creative ways where dassi can gather the information for me! I used to collect these information by going through the websites and newsletters one by one to put the date on my calendar, but dassi has shown me a more effective and systemic way to do this.
