This extension needs updating. It does not set the default search engine to perplexity. Chrome Version 127.0.6533.79

Works great for me. Doesn't do anything different than replacing the search engine in Brave. Also gets suggestions which I was missing when simply adding to Brave without the extension. Also can visit sites normally -- it doesn't replace them

Круть! Очень удобно отображает результаты со ссылками на то где первоисточник. Пишешь ей по-русски и она отвечает по-русски (это работает и в чате, и в поиске). Но есть серьёзное неудобство - если в Chrome указать её в качестве поисковой системы, то эта штука так же становится и в качестве стартовой загрузочной страницы, а мне нужно, чтобы при запуске Chome загружались последние открытые страницы... а поменять не даёт, только через отключение как поисковика. Очень неудобно сделали.
This extension doesn't work but if you manually add Perplexity AI to the custom search with the url 'https://www.perplexity.ai/search?q=%s' then it will works fine!
can't believe i just found this today.... glad someone is thinking at perplexity!
I absolutely love Perplexity! It gives me an instant answer to my search queries no matter how I word them, saving me loads of time when surfing the internet, and lets me ask follow-up questions. However, I cannot recommend this particular extension - it makes Perplexity override all search results, which is not good when I'm trying to go to a specific website without knowing its exact web address.
