I want it to only replace search as I prefer it to google search but I dont want it to replace my whole home screen. Disabled it till this happens
Just apply this in your SE setting Search engine Perplexity, Shortcut perplexity.ai/search/ URL with % in place of query, https://www.perplexity.ai/search/?q=%s
works great, automatically configured Chrome to use itself
Works as expected, do not listen to those who claim it doesn't work. They obviously do not understand how to enable it due to edge / chrome settings keeping extensions from changing your default search engine out of the box. Instead of flaming the developers, maybe learn how to work your browser correctly. - Sincerely, A Perplexity Pro user.

Did not work, it still was just using Google rather than perplexity replacing it.
Very awesome!!! But please add an option to override the new tab page because I hate the default bing/microsoft one and would like perplexity to open when opening a new tab in my browser. Using edge.
Doet en werkt duidelijk naar behoren. Geinig maar niet altijd wenselijk om via AI te zoeken. Mogelijkheid om snel te wisselen tussen perplexity en andere standaard zoekmachine is er niet (te vinden).
