I liked this extension when I used it in the past. However, it does not work with Google's Advanced Protection service. I really wish that Google would allow this app for those that are enrolled in the Advanced Protection Program. The inability to use this app under that service really irritates me.
This software is already obsolete. No support response, no update nor no severe security fix. In addition, hardcoded part is also too old, so many functions don't work. To keep your pgp/gpg providing security, this is already dead. We need other open sourse fine pgp/gpg frontend for gmail. I completely disappointed this front end of pgp/gpg. Especially, this extention breaks our pgp/gpg encryped or signed email. At this moment, we must call it non-secure ware just saying itself sesure, unfortunately this is same as malware. Do not use it.
Крутая вещь
I just recently started using , and as others have said the onboarding process is seamless so for now four stars , I will revisit after some testing. A big thanks to the dev team @ FlowCrypt.)
No undo in secure composed emails. Just started using it, there is no undo after email is sent for a certain time (seconds). would be a good feature. Thanks.
It's a nice extension but it is reserved for experts on encryption like me <: Just kidding everyone can use it and it is a really helpful extension. I send AES-256 bit encrypted files with a software like this. Yes I said software. This is like one.
Lässt sich superschnell und einfach einrichten.
Very easy to use. It loses a star because it does not yet support autocrypt, particularly sending autocrypt headers. I'd also really like to see the compose encrypted mail interface replace the regular compose mail interface (particularly when it comes to Gmail shortcuts). Since the new interface can also send mail unencrypted, I don't need both. It would make the UI cleaner.
Very pleased that I can use something like this for my small business. Thanks for helping secure our Gmail account because so many people use Gmail and it still comes off as a professional extension for emails. -JR
The UI is decent but there are some serious functional issues with it. Their (hard-coded) key server doesn't seem to find keys in the other key servers it claims to look in. Their key server and/or UI doesn't seem to handle multiple keys that match a given recipient in public key servers. There is no ability to choose one and It's unclear how it's even choosing the key it chooses to use when multiple exist. I would have assumed newest key of highest strength, or most signatures, etc. but neither of those are the case. With these key server issues, the extension is not useful for all but very narrow use-cases. I've contacted support about these issues but the only one response I got back was pretty lack-luster and my followup has gone unanswered. So TL;DR: I cannot recommend this extension.
