ClearColorVision – Personalized Color Correction for the Colorblind
🧠 See the web in your true colors
ClearColorVision is a Chrome extension that helps people with color blindness see websites more clearly. It changes colors in real time so that tricky color combinations (like red and green, or blue and yellow) are easier to tell apart—without making the website look weird or unnatural.
✨ What's New in the Latest Update
I've completely rebuilt the color vision test from the ground up. The new test uses confusion-axis chromatic discrimination with an adaptive staircase — the same scientific method used in clinical tools like the Cambridge Colour Test and the CAD test (used by the UK Civil Aviation Authority to certify pilots). Instead of just comparing color swatches, it measures your exact discrimination threshold while masking brightness cues with noise, so the results reflect your real color vision — not just your ability to spot brightness differences. This means far more accurate severity detection and better-tuned correction personalized to your eyes.
As part of this update, I've removed tritan (blue-yellow) testing to focus entirely on the accuracy of protan and deutan testing, which cover the vast majority of color vision deficiency cases. Fewer features, done properly.

A must have..
really impressive accessibility tool, Definitely something I’ll keep using daily.
What I like most is how natural everything still looks. Unlike other tools that make colors feel over edited, this one keeps the original look while improving clarity.
It’s especially helpful when dealing with dashboards or pages that rely heavily on color difference..
nice work
After taking the quick test, the color adjustments felt very natural and made text much easier to read.

Really impressed with how smooth this works.
This extension is honestly amazing, after setting it up, websites instantly became easier to read.
