It's very useful when read json
You should rely on MIME type instead of just parsing whether the content viewed is JSON so you should fire up the plugin. For example, your extension does not allow me to edit .json files on Github.

Formats JSON automagically with links too. Better than JSONlint in that way...

Great when viewing long JSON responses from API calls.
I am working with WebAPI and viewing the results in a readable format is great, just what i was looking for.
