Whenever you find yourself with too many tabs, click the OneTab icon to convert all of your tabs into a list. When you need to access the tabs again, you can either restore them individually or all at once.
When your tabs are in the OneTab list, you will save up to 95% of memory because you will have reduced the number of tabs open in your web browser.
Privacy assurance
OneTab is designed for privacy. Your tab URLs are never transmitted or disclosed to either the OneTab developers or any other party, and icons for tab URL domains are generated by Google. The only exception to this is if you intentionally click on our 'share as a web page' feature that allows you to upload your list of tabs into a web page in order to share them with others. Tabs are never shared unless you specifically use the 'share as a web page' feature.
Additional Benefits
Storing tabs in OneTab can also speed up your computer by reducing the CPU load and memory (RAM) usage of your browser. Even a high-end computer can become sluggish when many browser windows are open, because each open browser window may constantly consume resources.

Simple. Perfect. Works.
This is a Good add-on in Chrome, it makes me RAM quickly! Bravo!
Update: I had given this five stars before, but the last few months it has lost all the tabs sent to it. Three times now. No response from the developer on how to use the old data files to help get them back. As this has become a very unstable extension, I shall stop using it until it is fixed. And I hope it will be as it used to be so good. Old Post:This is the first extension that did all I could ask of it and made me feel all Nerdvana-ish. Tabs are awesome but so tempting to keep so many open for so long. I was all happy when I could cull the number of tabs down to a "mere" 15 tabs open. Naturally this made for a sluggish experience. I would dread opening my browser as all my previous tabs loaded. Now, usually, I only have 2 or 3 tabs open at a time. The browser moves so much more smoothly now. The grouping feature makes organization so much better. I also notice that I am more likely to check tabs off as done. Although not as important, it looks like it fits design-wise into Chromes visual style. What a great extension. I highly recommend it. Update: Having used it for awhile now, my above views have not changed at all. I am very happy that I can drag and drop a tab from one group to another, I would like the same ability to applied to groupings so that I can re-order groupings. Also, But I would say it would benefit from by able to merge or split groupings. That said, I am probably at the extreme end and using it as almost a secondary bookmark library which is not what it was designed to be.

Love it! I use it in several ways: 1. Saving my tabs when shutting-down or restarting my computer quickly. 2. Saving tabs that are not quite worthy of a bookmark (just want to save the tab temporarily) 3. Reducing Chrome's memory usage. Thanks!
Really useful when you stumble upon this interesting link you want to read later when you're not busy. Wish it had a sync feature though.

This is intuitive and a HUGE lifesaver. LOVE that each collection of tabs is dated and that you can delete or reorder individual links within the saved tabs. So. Smart.
