Tested on Chrome build Version 61.0.3163.100 (Official Build) (64-bit) on 9/29/2017 I was unable to find anymore but one way to circiumvent the security. Using One tab extension, the solution is simple though to completely lock out this exploit (all it does is let you see/view whatever last tab you had open) Within OneTab Options, select startup "Do not open OneTab automatically" and also within chrome, do not continue from where you left off at. This locks out any potentinal informational leaks regarding keeping your chrome locked down. Nice work Developer! As for those who Are saying it can be circumvented by running chrome with out extensions thats inevitable. All you do is make sure your END USERS do not have access to your machines and or password restrict running anything command wise in the least instance, on a windows os. As for linux thats pretty self explainatory on chromium, dont give users root privlidge access to run commands that circumvent security in place. Common sense people, common sense.
Why it shows typed password at startup...? There should be a option to see the password...
worst
Nice and simple, Well done. Tkank u
Ставишь пароль, при следующем запуске он его просит. Пока не введешь - все кнопки интерфейса недоступны, однако все равно видно какие вкладки открыты. Работает, не тормозит, но пароль не скрывает
There is a trick how to open chrome without password. You simply need to right-click the icon and open incognito window. It opens incognito window and a normal window. The last one ask for password. You simply need to press X, it closes normal chrome window but incognito window remains. So well, some small protection yes, but very small. Please fix it.
very nice lock
nice but password is visible after typing. can you make it dots or stars
