Introducing, the Shorts Blocker; a very simple Google Chrome extension that hides Youtube Shorts from everywhere; the home page, subscriptions page, and even the search results.

The entire project is open source, with no data collection, no ads, and no tracking.

Der beste YT Shorts Blocker! Warum .. Open Source .. und will auch NUR den Zugriff auf youtube.com. Andere Blocker wollen Zugriff auf ALLE Websites die man so aufruft. Teilweise sogar noch auf den Browserverlauf.

This extension is what I was looking for On the one hand, hide Shorts in the subscription feed and in the home page, and on the other hand, if I enter a Short by a direct URL because someone sent me a link, it won't redirect me to the regular video

I'm not 100% sure, but I think this extension started to subscribe me to random youtube channels. I know I didn't subscribe to the channels because it isn't even in a language I understand. Though I use other extensions, this is the latest one I started using before this issue started, so I'll remove it and see if the issue persists.
