From Claude: The problem is what you're being asked to install. A trusted root certificate lets the issuer decrypt and inspect every HTTPS connection on your machine. Banking, Stripe, GHL admin, Gmail, Wise, client data. If that company is ever compromised, sloppy with the cert's private key, or sold to someone less scrupulous, your encrypted traffic stops being encrypted from their point of view. They've also only existed since 2023, which is short for a vendor you're handing that level of access to.
Still works in 2026. I had my doubts and paranoias, yet it works like an Godlike charm +Respect to the devs making this a reality :D
