it basically removes the whole shorts UI and instead directly links you to the video, as a normal youtube video. I was hoping for normal video player on shorts UI, but this will have to do.

This is way better than the other extension, because the other one just entirely stops shorts from showing up on my feed, recommendations and search results.

Had another extension to "fix" shorts showing as normal videos. It borked itself, so had to look for another one. This worked great out of the gate and shorts are now showing in my subscription list again, and gets put into the normal full video player when viewed. A+

Works. Shorts was annoying because you can't fast-forward or go back. You have to watch the whole thing again. This is much better.
