This extension establishes a bi-directional communication bridge between a Google Meet call in a browser tab and a companion plugin on an Elgato Stream Deck, allowing for control of key meeting functions through the physical device while keeping its state synchronized with the live Google Meet interface. The extension's service worker connects to a local WebSocket server managed by the companion Stream Deck plugin for real-time command and state transfer. A content script is injected into Google Meet pages to directly monitor and interact with UI elements using observers, detecting state changes for controls like the microphone and camera. The service worker also tracks active tabs to ensure commands are routed correctly. Commands from the Stream Deck are sent to the active Google Meet tab, where the content script simulates a click on the corresponding element. Conversely, when a control's state changes on the webpage, the new state is sent back to the Stream Deck, allowing the physical button's icon to update in real-time. Supported functions include microphone mute/unmute, camera on/off, hand raise/lower, presentation start/stop, sending reactions, and leaving the call. The extension includes a popup to display connection status and is available in multiple locales. This extension is non-functional on its own and requires the user to install the corresponding "Kolaborate Google Meets Controls" plugin from the Elgato Stream Deck marketplace.
