On January 15 2019, YouTube decided to discontinue annotations. While the feature was frequently abused, it did have many legitimate use cases, such as games, corrections, and a form of commentary that could be toggled on and off. The removal left many older videos obsolete. Annotations Restored fixes this by searching for any archived annotation files and displaying them if found.

Could you add an annotation editor to add our own annotations?
sadly, the one video I downloaded this for (JerryTerry's The Boys Are Back in Town) didn't have annotations on it, but it does work for other videos, and I understand that you can't get every single video's annotation, which is why I'm still giving this 5 stars.
Works well but make it work in embeds too there is an option to turn it on but it does nothing
