You just need to be viewing an article or a list of references in the browser and click on the Mendeley Web Importer extension icon in the toolbar.

The plugin works quite ok on my windows 7 but it is not responding on my Windows 11 Pro. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling a couple of times but I still could not get it to work
Consistently breaks and only works 25% of the time
Doesn't work. Doesn't do anything when I clicked the extension icon.
I guess something wrong with the extension now. Used to work fine over the years for me

To echo those comments below me, this used to be a great tool but doesn't work at all now. Absolutely incredible this passed development and testing stages! If I was rating this app for the most pointless app to exist, i'd give it 5 stars!
I LOVE Mendeley, having a free option to keep track of my citations and articles I want to go over is great, but the extension barely EVER works. :(
Used to work perfectly fine, but for the last months, since they switched off the desktop version, it's been absolutely impossible to add any reference. I've tried pretty much anything to sort it out, with no success.
Im so unhappy, I have no words. Doesnt respond when I m clicking on it, doesnt detect references even when pdf is open! You have literally made your product worse! WHY? It wasnt good to start with, and now you are forcing the poor users who try to be loyal away. Give us the desktop version back. re-engage the old word plugin, and remove the fancy internet connected ones - they are not working.
Used to be really good, but within the last few months it has just stopped working. I am still using the desktop version of Mendeley because I like it, but I just use DOIs to manually add the reference now. This addon is useless.
