I tried importing papers from Science and Science Direct and each time it crashed the page.
I was using this extension all the way through my dissertation and at the last minute it stopped working :( Won't do anything when I click on it!! so annoying
great
Sometimes it does not work at all,
Finally! Amazing! Works great for IEEEXplore
one word..the best
This does not work for page citation like URL. Hated it. Previously it was better.
"Download PDFs if available" usually just leads to a corrupt "pdf" file in my library entry. It now enables you to choose which folders the reference goes into, which is a key improvement. It would be great to be able to edit the Notes field for the entry, directly from the Importer, to enable quick note recording without opening and syncing the Mendeley client. A key feature would be the detection of whether the reference is already in your library. My memory is not good enough to do this, and I often end up with duplicates. Readcube extension has this feature, and is my main reason for switching over to them.
Sometimes it works perfectly and is a really excellent resource. Sometimes it just doesn't work at all and when you click on the icon, it doesn't do anything (not even the grey box that says there's nothing there). Would get 5 stars if it worked consistently because when it works, it's fantastic.
make sure you are also signed in to google account because save to mendely button wasnt showing up when i wasnt signed in... not sure whether that was the problem but its working fine now...
