When you install Scholar Reader, PDFs on all sites will have a new look in Chrome. To make this happen, Chrome will ask for permissions to read and change data on all sites. Scholar Reader makes no changes other than the presentation of PDFs.
• Preview references as you read. Click the in-text citation to see a summary and find the PDF.
• Read faster with the AI outline. Get a quick overview and click on interesting bullets to jump within the paper.
• Highlight and comment on PDFs. Highlights are saved to your Scholar library.
• Make it right for your eyes with light, dark, and night modes.
• Copy and paste common citation formats without leaving the paper.

A really helpful application. In needs annotations feature though, capable of showing annotation in any language (not like Chrome embedded pdf reader).

This is certainly among the better things that have made my research life way easier. Please add annotations feature to this, or atleast enable highlighting.
At this point, please add highlight function and cloud saving to google drive that are connected to my library of google scholar. This is really helpful.
O aplicativo tem várias funcionalidades muito interessantes, inovaram em vários aspectos, mas esqueceram do básico: permitir marcar o texto e inserir anotações. É uma opção fundamental pra leitura de qualquer artigo científico. Sem isso, não vejo sentido em migrar para esse aplicativo. Uma pena.
This has become my PDF Reader of choice – period. Integration with my Scholar library, automated outline generation + reference hyperlinks are killer apps that make this too good to pass up. I was initially skeptical of the AI Outline feature, but it has become a life-saver, when reading domain-specific and/or challenging texts, without having my head cave in. Would love the ability to save PDF's in one's collection – using Google Drive, similarly to how PaperPile does it – useful in for newer articles which haven't been indexed by Scholar yet.
É melhor que o adobe reader, mas precisa de um melhoramento: quando se copia com ctrl+C alguma parte do documento, deveria colar bem no Word (como acontece com a extensao do adobe), sem quebras de pdf.
