When you install Scholar Reader, PDFs on all sites will have a new look in Chrome. To make this happen, Chrome will ask for permissions to read and change data on all sites. Scholar Reader makes no changes other than the presentation of PDFs.
• Preview references as you read. Click the in-text citation to see a summary and find the PDF.
• Read faster with the AI outline. Get a quick overview and click on interesting bullets to jump within the paper.
• Highlight and comment on PDFs. Highlights are saved to your Scholar library.
• Make it right for your eyes with light, dark, and night modes.
• Copy and paste common citation formats without leaving the paper.

Good but AI outline not working and not able to underline or highlight pdf. Kindly look into that.

Great experience ahead and interested to use it further. But currently it's not working and reflecting as "AI Outline not available for this pdf"
I've tried with three different pdfs and it's simply not working, enabled settings etc, still every time: "AI Outline not available for this pdf" Well intended but released too early, do release again please!
There should be at least functions like hightlight and underline, which is of vital importance to PDF readers in academia. Hope to see that upgrades soon! btw, I come to use this reader from Google Scholar.

I love this pdf viewer, the preview of scientific sources, and especially the dark mode. Would it be possible to add a possibility to highlight in the document and save it locally? (or just open a local pdf in the browser and be able to highlight parts in different colours) ? Thanks!
