very practical! it would be great if the grouping could be sorted according to rules, so that I can know where the tags I want are right away
Simple et efficace
Update: Auto-Collapse Tab Groups integrates seamlessly with Auto-Group Tabs! Very responsive and attentive Developer who deserves recognition. No doubt this extension will only improve with time. 5 Stars all the way! As a tab junkie who likes to work with dozens of tabs open, this extension has simply revolutionized the way I work! I have used several such extensions in the past but this has been the most stable and useful. Kudos to the developer for making the source available and creating such an outstanding extension. My only caveat is that I cannot setup keyboard shortcuts? I want to be able to either expand/minimize the groups using keyboard shortcuts. Better still, if the open tabs from a group would auto minimize to the group tab after it loses focus for a set number of period, automatically. Question to developer: When the tabs are minimized into the group, are they still consuming memory?
This extension is phenomenal. There is so much care and superb design in this extension, even the re-ordering of group rules. And the button to jump directly to the rules from a group! The Strict/Merge options... such critical features! This is a real developer, with their code on GitHub, and not some weird nameless faceless "someone" which I keep seeing behind popular extensions (those others make me concerned they will rug-pull to an advertising extension, wouldn't be the first time). Edit: I wanted to add, creating an "Ungrouped" group at the bottom of the list that matches `http://*` and `https://*` is INCREDIBLY HELPFUL. Now the group list on my bookmarks bar perfectly organizes everything for easy switching and even session management (Chrome feature). THIS EXTENSION IS AMAZING. 5/5 This one is amazing. Honestly it has already made a massive difference in keeping tabs organized across 3 monitors; if I want to watch something I can open YouTube/Twitch/Netflix/whatever and it snaps that fresh tab into my existing Watch group where I go, "Oh yeah, I was already watching this other thing" without having to hunt anything down. I love it.
Can there be a minimum number of tabs - like 3 before a group is formed
Works very nicely. If you have pre-existing groups, you have to add them to this addon's config. There's a convenient option for that.
Nice tool, however it often creates duplicate tab groups buttons that I have to manually delete
