Want to search your local academic library without having to navigate to the library's home page? Use this extension to search a library (or any other web page with a search feature) from wherever you are on the web.

In your settings page, you name the library and provide the URL of a page where you conducted a search in that library's website. Then, you can highlight and right-click on a word or phrase on any website and select to search that library's catalog for the selected text. Or, click the icon in your toolbar and search from there.

Especially useful for university researchers (students or faculty) or anyone who's constantly looking for books and articles available through a library.

It also works for other websites with search functions built in. In fact, the default is Google.
