someone recommend this app to me. since i am having a problem with rapportive. i decided to try this and it really works. seems nice at first. but on the second day. it prompted me to connect to my gmail or facebook account.. is this really necessary?
I had to refresh my Gmail tab to get it working, but works great now! It has info on about 75% of my emails, so I've found it very useful.
I just got it from a recommendation and it's amazing!
It only shows up in one of my Gmail accounts. I have Rapportive installed, and that shows up in my Google Apps for Edu, my Gmail and a private Google Apps account. But Discoverly only shows up in the Edu account. That was the first one I used it in. Update: OK. It is only able to connect with one Gmail account at a time. This is unfortunate because I am always logged into three main accounts. Other extensions can handle multiple accounts (e.g. Rapportive). Loggin in and out is not acceptable. 2nd Update: So, it gets worse. Decided to switch the tool over to the account in which I would get the most benefit. When I try to attach a Facebook account for access to profiles, I am told that that account is in use by another user. When I log into the Discoverly profile for that "other user", i.e. me, I see no where to unlink accounts. It is stuck on that one Gmail account. Changing the rating to 1 and removing the extension. This is too bad because it appeared to be helpful. OK. Final update, I hope. It is now working fine across all of my accounts. I removed the extension and then added it into Chrome using a different account. I did not try to integrate it with Rapportive - maybe that is the difference. Anyway. It works great and I am quite happy with it.
It is working 100% for me. Love this extension and 5 star for it.

Problems letting me log in through twitter, facebook and gmail.
Has the potential to be very useful but it rarely ever finds anybody's profiles. :( Will check back in a few weeks if there are any updates.
